Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

Three-Year Full Time Bachelor Level Information Technology Programme, affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, and designed to cater to the needs of global Software Industry. The MIPS aims at imparting in- depth knowledge in software as well as in hardware concepts and their practical applications. Excellent infrastructure with state-of-the-art equipments and committed faculty members help our students to explore the world of Information Technology. The Programme also includes few Management subjects to develop the students as complete professionals for tomorrow.

Admission Process

Number of Seats  : No of Seats allotted to MIPS for BCA are : 120
Eligibility : 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks and having Mathematics as one of the subjects at High School / Intermediate / 10th Level / 10+2 Level. 
Selection Criteria : As per the Rules of U.P State Government/CCS University, Meerut. 

Curriculum

Broadly the Programme is of three years duration, which is divided into Six Semesters, each semester having five papers and exposure to industry with Software Practical. The programme aims at developing a sense of Technical expertise on the basis of fundamental knowledge of IT subjects with a well supervised exposure to industry practices. The BCA graduates enter into the competitive world of business and advance education with the ‘extra edge’ that comes from an ongoing, symbiotic education process comprising subjects from different areas of computer application

MSDN Academic Alliance of Microsoft
MIPS is an IT Academy Program Member of Microsoft. As a part of the MSDNA services, the Organization as well as the Students and Faculty of MIPS, have acquired around 100 licensed copies of Microsoft Software such as Microsoft Windows, Visual Studio and others. The MIPS receives access to more than 300 e-learning courses for academic staff, instructors and students which help them to upgrade their technical skills. The Software is used in Coursework and personal non-commercial projects to be developed by students and faculty.

Microsoft Certifications

  • Faculty members and Students of MIPS are updated with industry by becoming Microsoft Certified in the specific modules which they are teaching or learning.
  • MIPS encourages students to obtain a Microsoft Certification to augment their academic achievements as it provides them a leading edge when entering into the IT workforce.
