Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

The BBA is a strong and integrated Programme, which gives the students a lasting perspective and capability to innovate on the basic level of job. The Programme imparts knowledge, develops management skills and fosters attitudes essential for the growth of the students to become responsible and successful business managers in today's competitive business world. The programme is a three-year full time degree programme affiliated to C.C.S University, Meerut.

Eligibility : 10+2 in any stream.

Curriculum

Broadly the Course is of Three Years duration, which is divided into Six Semesters, each Semester having Five to Six papers and exposure to Industry with project Report. The programme aims at developing a sense of managerial decision making on the basis of fundamental knowledge of management subjects with a well supervised exposure to industry practices. The BBA graduates enter into the competitive world of business and advance education with the ‘extra edge’ that comes from an ongoing, symbiotic education process comprising subjects from different areas.

Each pedagogic approach is described succinctly so we can quickly understand how the technique might be relevant to teaching.We Include:-Class Room Lectures using LCD and OHP System, Group Discussion, Assignments, Seminar and Workshops, Case Studies, and Industrial Visits.

Value Addition at MIPS

Today’s competitive environment has tremendously put in heavy responsibility on the conduct of higher education, especially in the field of management. We at MIPS have taken this challenging and noble task not only by providing quality education but also ensuring all-round development of young and future managers. In this regard, we have tried to make our BBA Program extensively Industry oriented by means of regular Industrial Exposure Activities. To full fill this requirement, BBA students are regularly sent for Visits to various Organizations of different Industries.

Guest Lecture:
The Experts in various fields covering the topics from the Course Curriculum like Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Finance etc. regularly appraise our Students and give in-depth knowledge about the current Industrial happenings.

Project Report
Students are required to prepare a Project Report on the basis of their exposure to Corporate Practices/training which is supervised by the Industry and Faculty mentors.

Mock Interview Sessions & Group Discussions 
Students are provided with ample opportunities to participate in G. Ds and Interviews. A regular interaction of this types helps to develop leadership skills and boost confidence level of the students

Assignments & Case Study 
Students of various disciplines like Marketing, Finance, HR, IT etc. are given a variety of Assignments by the Institute which enhance their research, analytical and presentation skills. Strategies adopted by the organizations are taught to the students through the Case Study Method in analyzing and solving live business problems. 

Presentations 
The Institute aims at enhancing the overall Personality of the Students. Both individual and team presentations help in developing the desired Communication and Presentation Skills of the Students. 

Mentoring & Personality Development Programme 
The Institute encourages Mentor-Mentee relationship between Teacher and Students. Mentoring Programme for the Students is in place to prepare and equip them with requisite skills to face the Corporate World with the Counselling from their Mentors. Personality Development Programme (PDP) sessions help in building self-awareness and develop positive attitude to manage time and stress. Feedback on important traits is delivered through supportive counselling sessions by experts. 

Field & Live Project
Every student has to carry out a Project under the guidance of a Faculty member on a topic of his/her choice. This gives a student an opportunity to showcase his / her analytical skills and put into practice the Conceptual Knowledge acquired in the Class Rooms for the specialization.

Seminars
The students at MIPS are given exposure to latest practices of Corporate World by organizing National Level Seminars where experts from the Industry are invited to deliberate on specific issues. Students are not only participants as audience but also as organizers which ultimately hone their managerial skills. Participation of Students in Seminars held by the Institute gives them rich exposure in specialized areas of Management.
